UX / UI / IDENTITEIT

WorkPamoja: A project by the Fair Trade Software Foundation in collaboration with the German government. The goal of this project is bringing NGO’s, European IT companies and African IT companies together to stimulate their businesses. Collaboration could benefit financially but also in marketing and learning skills.

I started with a lot of UX research like creating persona’s, user journeys and user flows. Working together with another designer we created wireframes which we confirmed by interviewing potential users. After this, we also delivered the UI design.

To develop the style we did lots of research about the market in Europe but also in Afrika. We tested several styles on the target groups and found out taste is different here and in Africa so we tried to find the sweet spot in the middle.

Finally, we choose colours that fit the Fair Trade Software Foundation. We used shapes from African patterns but modernized and subtle so it fits the cleaner western style as well.
